If you decided to become a franchisee with FASTSIGNS, here is what your first 12 months could look like: 

Three Months: 12 short weeks from making your decision to become a franchisee you’ll have completed all your due diligence, created business plans, obtained any finance you might need, signed the paperwork and located a premises. You’ll be jetting off to Dallas, Texas for foundations training to learn all of FASTSIGNS processes for running your centre. 

Six Months: At this stage, you’ll have returned to the UK and worked with our team on the physical building of your centre. You’ll have spent some time with your mentor franchisee getting to grips with the day-to-day running of your centre. You’ll feel confident discussing signage substrates, such as aluminium, vinyl and illumination, and you’ll be able to recognise where they can be placed within signage projects for maximum effect. This knowledge will allow you to attend on-site visits with customers to understand their signage challenges. 

Nine Months: By now you’ll have built great relationships with our franchisee and sales networks and will be leaning on our supplier network, all of whom can help you flourish in your role as a franchisee and signage expert. You’ll be proactively marketing to businesses in your local area and responding to incoming leads generated by your PPC and SEO digital marketing campaigns. Your days in your centre will likely be busy managing your team, fulfilling customer orders and maintaining operations.   

Twelve Months: Just 365 days after deciding to become a franchisee, you could be congratulating yourself on achieving something incredible. You’ll be working towards breaking even on your investment, as well as creating new marketing and business plans that will drive your centre towards early maturity. You may even be planning your centre’s first-anniversary event! One thing that’s certain, your life will look completely different to the one you had only a year before!   

….but only if you get out there and make it happen!
