2024’s biggest success stories within the FASTSIGNS UK network, highlight how diverse our customer base really is! Imagine working with customers like these.

If you’re considering the prospect of making your big move in 2025, by taking control of your future and launching a new signage franchise with our help, your biggest questions are likely: Who will be my first customers? And where will they come from?

When doing any kind of research into this industry, you can’t help but notice the range of signage all around us. It’s everywhere! And new ones pop up all the time. This is potentially great news for you and your new FASTSIGNS business, as it means your work will never be out of demand. It also means there’s no simple answer to the question: “What does a typical FASTSIGNS customer look like?” because there is simply no such thing! You’ll be working with a variety of customers around you, such as small local businesses, large shopping centres, public institutions, or local government bodies; everyone needs signs to get their message across and stand out for all the right reasons.

At FASTSIGNS, our franchisees are incredibly proud of their work, which is why we like to reward the best projects in the network. To give you an idea of the types of projects you could be working on, here are some of our award winners from 2024:

Project of the Year: FASTSIGNS Huddersfield – Fresh Futures Charity
The Fresh Futures Charity needed a visible and welcoming presence in their community, and FASTSIGNS Huddersfield delivered in style. Winning the bid against four other sign companies, the team executed an extensive rebrand across four charity locations, with a vibrant red and white colour palette. The project included wall-mounted sign trays, projecting signs, post and panel site identification and informational signage.

FASTSIGNS Leeds – Leeds Rhinos Headingly Stadium
When your rugby team has a powerful name like the Leeds Rhinos, you know run-of-the-mill displays and signage just aren’t going to cut it! Their home stadium at Headingley needed a refresh, so FASTSIGNS Leeds pulled out all the stops to replace existing graphics with updated logos across the ground – during some of the worst weather of the year!! They installed new vinyl graphics, refreshed seat logos, step graphics and wall signs and added bold, new player banners in the South Stand… just in time for one of their biggest matches.

“The best thing about this industry is you can see your product. It’s really satisfying.” – Andy Simpson, FASTSIGNS Leeds

FASTSIGNS Northampton – MSI Reproductive Choices
High-end services need high-end signage. FASTSIGNS Northampton proved they were up to the challenge when approached by Oxford-based MSI Reproductive Choices. In preparation for the grand opening of a new clinic, the Northampton team worked to an incredibly tight deadline installing large ACM fascia signs, acrylic standoffs and external wayfinding directional signage. These provided a cohesive branding, whilst ensuring safety and efficiency. The client was so impressed, they’ve booked FASTSIGNS for two more sites!

FASTSIGNS Kingston – ACS International School

In a wonderful example of how building relationships with clients not only leads to regular work but makes us the number one trusted choice for large-scale projects, FASTSIGNS Kingston has worked with ACS International Schools for over a decade. They provide signage to their Hillingdon and Egham campuses. In 2024, undertook their largest project to date:

  • They updated wayfinding across a third 128-acre Cobham site, refurbished graphics in the Middle and High Schools and provided new signage for the lower school.
  • Back at the Egham site, FASTSIGNS also applied large profile-cut graphics to the exterior of the amphitheatre along with decorative graphics to the Science block.
  • In Hillingdon, they created wall graphics and door signage for a new Sports Hall.

Even more impressively, they managed to finish it all during the summer break!

“Seeing customers’ expressions, when they see their signs is the best!” – Tunde Sodipo, FASTSIGNS Northampton

These are just a few examples of all the incredible work our partners carried out across the UK last year. We also engaged in big projects for estate agents, coffee shops, healthcare centres, logistics centres, local councils and many more customers.
