For the second consecutive year, FASTSIGNS are finalists for a BFA Award. This time, we’ve been shortlisted for the Leadership and Culture Award.
When it comes to establishing a great culture, our franchisees are the greatest accolade for our success. However, it is also an honour to be formally acknowledged externally and be shortlisted for the British Franchise Association’s Leadership & Culture award!
This award looks at franchises that have created collaborative networks and shared success. Something FASTSIGNS has successfully achieved since we launched over 40 years ago. The criteria assesses a business’ passion and commitment to its vision and values, with people being at the heart of what the franchise does. FASTSIGNS has focused resources on establishing a framework for franchisees to share ideas, contributing to the growth of their individual business, as well as the overall business.
To be shortlisted for this award is a real testament to the value we place on our franchise network and their ideas. As John Davies, FASTSIGNS UK’s Managing Director says, Winning the BFA Award for Leadership and Culture would be phenomenal! We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for this accolade, especially when you consider the impressive brands that are also in this category. This award represents the passion, commitment and hard work that the FASTSIGNS UK Support Team demonstrates, on a daily basis. It’s about a team of people, performing their roles to the best of our ability and providing support to our franchisees, that creates an environment that people want to be part of!
Upon releasing the shortlist, the BFA said, “Each finalist has demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation and dedication to their brands and communities. We extend our congratulations to all the nominees for their hard work and achievements.”
One of the judges, Gillian Morris, UK Head of Franchise at HSBC, said: “My heartfelt congratulations to the deserving finalists in this year’s British Franchise Awards. Shortlisting the entries and choosing the finalists is one of the toughest challenges of my year, but it’s one I love. I was truly inspired by the brilliant businesses amongst this year’s entrants and the finalists really do represent the best of British franchising.”
